Two months back, Nicki Minaj dropped off her “Pinkprint Freestyle,” and trolled us with an album announcement, but apart from that, we haven’t seen her much on the music scene. Late last night/early this morning, Nicki decided to drop off her own remix of Rae Sremmurd’s (now) hit single, “Black Beatles,” which just reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 yesterday, thanks in no small part to the duo’s #mannequinchallenge that is taking over the internets.
Nicki took to Instagram to congratulate Rae Sremmurd and Mike WiLL Made It on their success, writing, “Cuz 2 Lil black kids got the NUMBER 1 RECORD IN THE COUNTRY & I’m soooooo happy for Mike Will. Now ✅ that! my baby Phaedra voice #SremmLife #MikeWillMadeIt Guwop on the nmbr one record in the country.”
Take a listen to her take over the instrumental and let us know what you think.
All my n*ggas draw but none of them cartoonists
Usually I’m the baddest, usually I’m the cutest
Usually I’m the flyest, usually you’re the stewardess
And we ain’t playin’ ball but usually it’s some shooters
Are these bitches drunk? These bitches ain’t lucid
Go against the queen, your career be elusive
Where your plaques at? Where your stocks at?
